Last week, Eagleville Elementary School launched its Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative with a high-energy assembly featuring renowned presenter Parker Basketball Jones. The special event was designed to unite the school community and reinforce the core values that promote a positive learning environment.

PBIS is a research-based framework focused on consistently teaching, modeling, and reinforcing positive student behavior across all school settings. The Eagleville program emphasizes the message:

Be Safe

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

FLY TO SUCCESS

The kickoff assembly successfully introduced and reinforced these expectations to students in an engaging and motivational manner. Parker "Basketball" Jones, known for his ability to connect with students, customized his presentation to weave the Eagleville expectations into his high-energy message. Through engaging storytelling and real-world connections, Jones reinforced the importance of positive choices and set a clear foundation for the school's reward and support systems.
