Reading and Writing
Dear Parents,
Summertime is the perfect opportunity for your child to enjoy a different pace and “take a break.” We know that children still need to keep reading and writing over the summer to maintain their skills. The Elementary Reading Department has provided a calendar of fun activities designed to keep your children using their reading and writing skills.
Due to our efforts to Go Green, we’re providing this calendar online, for you to download and print. It is an optional resource for your family, and not a district requirement. If you do not have access to a computer and printer, please contact your building reading specialist to request a paper copy. Those students who complete the packet/calendar can hand it to the reading specialist and receive a small prize.
